Even before COVID-19 Tracy and John had planned to have a small wedding at the Parramatta Registry Office. The plan was for around 30 guests to celebrate with them at Vela Dining and Bar at Cabarita also. Unfortunately not everyone could make it, the international guests in particular. Tracy’s Vietnamese wedding outfit was also in doubt as her maker/designer had to isolate away from her studio when she was unwell. Thankfully she was fine and the stunning Vietnamese inspired outfit arrived in time! Tracy kept telling me throughout the day she was so happy with it and it was the perfect wedding dress for her. I must agree!
Tracy and John’s wedding was the weekend before the five-person wedding restrictions came in. Everyone was still a little unsure on what they should and shouldn’t do but social distancing was in place. I made a custom hand sanitizer with their names and a love heart to try and help lighten the mood of the day. The ceremony would have normally been inside the Parramatta Registry Office but Tracy thought it would be lovely to use the space outside. Twenty guests watched the couple exchange their vows while overlooking the Parramatta River. The guests congratulated the couple with an elbow tap instead of a hug or handshake.
After the ceremony we headed to Cabarita Park for some photos in some gorgeous afternoon light. The water was a rich deep blue and the light was sparkling through the trees. Top top this off John was treating Tracy like a princess. If you observe how delicately he takes her hand when they are walking, it is so sweet. He is definitely head over heels for new wife!
