Lisa and Paul made a great choice in having a Bilgola Beach wedding. The Bilgola Beach Life Saving Club is like a little treasure on Sydney’s Northern Beaches and unknown by many. The club has a gorgeous grassed and paved courtyard entertaining area overlooking the beach. Despite this, the area feels very private.
Details and decoration were important to Lisa on the day as she has a real flare for design. We made sure we allowed enough time to capture all these lovely details at the wedding. On the day I was trying to find the best spot to really showcase the rings (the last photo in the post) and I had looked everywhere with no luck. Then I saw some rich textures in the stone that was used as extra seating in the garden. Would you have guessed it was taken there? As a photographer you are investing in my skills to see the beauty and opportunity in things your eye may not see. I am so excited when my clients really appreciate how I can bring out the beauty of their venue in the simplest of ways.
Lisa told me there would be a suprise associated with the custom-made cake topper. I was very curious as to what this could be. They brought the delicious brownie cake out just before I was finishing. On the top was a gorgeous silhouette of a bride and groom and their two cats. Lisa knows I have two cats (and met one of them too) and also knows I love all animals. A lot of my clients tend to be animal lovers and I love exchanging stories and photos with them! So if you are an animal lover do not hesitate to get in contact as I am happy to hear all your pet/animal related stories and see endless photos!
