For those who know Erin, they know she is well organised and has a clear vision of what she wants. Her vintage city wedding was no exception! I was booked more than 14 months ahead of the wedding date. We discussed wedding details and ideas almost every week in the lead-up. Then suddenly there was a break in communications three months before the wedding. I assumed Erin didn’t have anything more to discuss. But it turns out she and Jake were very busy starring in the reality renovation show The Block on Channel Nine!
I got a call from Erin in June asking if she could use the countryside engagement photos I captured for the rooms they were renovating. It was a big yes from me! So if you have seen the rooms they decorated, the photos are showcased in the guest room and main bedroom 🙂
I really love Erin and Jake’s style and would love to copy everything they did on The Block for my home. I especially love the feature wall in the main bathroom!
If you want to see what the apartment looked like on wedding day then I have some shots! My assistant and I were lucky to see the finished project before the show went to air. It was an absolute delight to photograph the details and girls’ portraits in such a beautiful environment.
The only ‘downer’ of the day was the constant rain. The ceremony, planned for Centennial Park, was postponed to 6pm at the QVB Tearooms. But this did not phase Erin and Jake – they were happy to buck tradition and meet up before the ceremony for some photos at Martin Place. Please enjoy the fun and romance of Erin and Jake’s Wedding!
