This wedding was everything I could have imagined for a French countryside wedding. The ceremony was held in an old village dating back more than 1000 years near Angers in central France. In Australia, we are so used to seeing everything that is new and old to us might be something from the 1950s or at the most the 1800s. If we see something from the 1600s, we totally wowed beyond belief! When I travelled to France and I was wowed all the time and this wedding was no exception.
F + G worked tirelessly to organise a wedding in Angers France with character that represented their personalities. The bride loves fashion and her dress is by the amazing French designer Delphine Manivet. This wedding was in 2010 and even now, 10 years later I think the dress is still holding its own! Be sure to check out all the amazing vintage pieces. And I loved that groom sang with the gypsy performers at the caravan. What an amazing wedding in every way!
Thank you to the gorgeous Emilie Iggiotti for asking me to shoot this wedding with her. Emilie is an incredibly talented storyteller and she is the in-demand photographer in France and abroad! I felt very privileged to be by her side on this huge wedding which not only had lovely details but also two crazy ‘kids’ in love 🙂 Please note that the bride prefers that I did not show her face in any of the online photos.
Please note that the Bride asked for more anonymity online so that is why you do not see photos Bride’s face front on / Dress: Delphine Manivet / Bride’s shoes: Chloé
