This Cafe Morso Wedding had it all from cocktail-style celebrations on a Pyrmont wharf to first look photos, adorable Whippets and gorgeous night photos.
Kate and Matt decided to do things a little differently. An AirBnb in Rozelle provided the backdrop for getting ready and ‘first look’ photos. It was important to Kate and Matt to capture moments with their beloved furkids rather than taking them to the city.
The wedding couple then headed to Pyrmont for photos in front of weathered warehouse doors, a huge rock wall and the rustic wharf. They couldn’t stop laughing, kissing and dancing around! They were so excited for their Cafe Morso Wedding.
The ceremony began as the sun started to go down on this very hot and humid afternoon. Kate and Matt said their very loving and funny vows to each other. The rest of the night involved chatting with guests, photoboothing, cake cutting and some dancing! We also snuck in some gorgeous night photos of the city skyline. This was the perfect relaxed wedding focusing on time with guests but also time for just the happy couple.
I now specialise in short coverage for smaller, relaxed weddings. Kate and Matt’s wedding was one of the first to book my new packages. They had approximately 6 hours covered. This included a few getting ready photos, first look photos, bride and groom portraits, ceremony, group photos, night photos, speeches and first dance. Please note that they did add an assistant (thanks Bree!) to their package to help out. So this gives you an idea of what can be covered in a shorter wedding day.
