Henry’s Animal Themed Birthday Party with Baby Crocodile!

Lizards, frogs, a baby snake, a HUGE snake and a Cake Smash!

Nicole never fails to impress and Henry’s Animal Themed Birthday Party was no exception! Everyone tells Nicole she should be a party planner and I couldn’t agree more. Nicole’s husband Tim told me that everything you see in the room set up (other than maybe the balloons) all came from things they had at the house. So it is true that you can make an amazing styled party with the things you already have!

 

In the space of 2.5 hours I was able to capture: the details of the setup before everyone arrived, some quick family portraits, photos of Henry with his big ‘2’ balloon, 9 month old portraits of Florence, the kids playing at the activity stations, cake cutting and a cake smash for Henry! The major entertainment though was a big reptile presentation by Ranger Steve from Walkabout Reptiles. There were frogs, lizards of all kinds – blue tongue, dinosaur-looking and spiky ones! There was a ‘baby’ snake and then a HUGE snake that everyone helped to hold. The cutest of them all was the baby crocodile! This animal themed birthday party had it all!

 

There was another star at this animal themed birthday party other than little Henry. The Cake! It looked amazing, we cannot deny that, but it also tasted as good as it looked, melted perfectly in the mouth!! Themelina from Sugar Dust should be congratulated. She has just started her cake business but it seems she is already creating 5 star quality! Well done Themelina, we are all impressed!  She also has an amazing mobile business serving mini burgers at corporate events called East Coast Slider Shack. It sounds like I am being paid to advertise but I am not. I was just so impressed by her cake and presentation that I think she deserves the attention!
