Have you seen the Australian TV series, A Place to Call Home? It is a great series set on a country estate in the 1940s. The Estate, also known as Camelot and located just outside of Camden, is where Alana and Gary chose to have their wedding ceremony and photos. It is just perfect in every way!
The morning of the wedding had been pouring with rain and the dark clouds were gathering again in the afternoon. Although the gorgeous Stables area at Camelot was all set up for a wet weather ceremony, it was decided to risk it and have the ceremony outside as originally planned! And didn’t their risk pay off! The sun came out and there was no rain in sight. The ceremony was incredibly heartfelt and you could see Alana and Gary were in their own bubble of love. Afterwards, we explored the property for about 45 minutes and then we had to head off to the reception for some serious partying!!!
A big shout out to Sarah Jay & Co who did the Styling at the reception and also ran the Eco Photobooth (photo files sent via email or Facebook). Alana had this to say about Sarah in the lead up to the wedding – “. She is AMAZING and nothing was ever too much or too hard. She was wonderful to work with and handled all the styling of the wedding with zero dramas which was such a relief for me! I would recommend her to anyone in a heartbeat.”
