This new Wedding Season has really shown us some glorious weather and I hope it will continue! Sam and Geo organised their day to be celebrated in the gorgeous and secluded Illawarra Rhododendron Gardens in Wollongong. I have to admit that having a Rhododendron Gardens Wedding is the perfect way to go!
They set up a huge number of games for their guests to enjoy after the ceremony and I would say it is the best-organised game set up I have ever seen and everyone really got into it! Sam and Geo wanted time to play the games with their friends and therefore made sure there was enough time allocated in the timeline. I think I saw a smile on every face that day – all their hard work paid off!
And despite all the hard work, Sam and Geo were super relaxed and were able to truly enjoy the day. I think the funniest thing that happened was when I was photographing the cake and noticed the leg had fallen off the ‘Little Geo Groom’ and I was asking the chefs if they had anything to fix it. I was trying to get it fixed before Sam came in and saw it for the first time. Then Sam walked in to check out all the decorations before the guests and noticed the leg and she said: “let’s just use some super glue and don’t eat that part of the cake.” She was not stressing, just laughing at how funny it was. It was great to see!!
