This Beachside Dojo Wedding was casual, relaxed and had a great party atmosphere. This is exactly what Phoebe and Charlie wanted and were so happy celebrating with friends and family in January. Phoebe and Charlie met in Manly more than 10 years ago and decided it was the perfect place to celebrate.
I was so excited when Charlie mentioned wanting photos at the Daniel San Bar. The Bar has a real fun retro vibe and is just downstairs from the Beachside Dojo. My husband and I love the Karate Kid movies and if you don’t know, Daniel is the main character. However, the Dojo certainly doesn’t look like a sweaty karate studio. It has a light and airy feel overlooking the infamous Manly Beach. As you can see from the photos it is an amazing venue and especially for those wanting a wedding with a relaxed party feel.
Despite the ‘Insta-worthy’ venues, the most important thing to Phoebe and Charlie was capturing the natural moments with their guests. I have shared a lot of photos with you so you can see this is also a normal part of what I do and look for when capturing your day.
