Simple elegance and lots of emotion could describe this Blue Mountains backyard wedding well. This wedding was held at Jane’s parent’s absolutely breathtaking property in the Blue Mountains. Jane and Aaron worked hard to create an inviting and relaxing with lots of personal touches. They made all their invitations, place cards and thank you cards. And as you scroll through the images you will see Jane put together lots of lovely details from things that can be found around the home. Even the family’s MG vintage car made an appearance for the photos.
Not only were the wedding details personal but the vows and speeches also. Jane and Aaron were so open and honest about their feelings in front of their guests and it seemed the guests shared the same through their speeches. I like to call myself an emotional photographer as I love being a part of all these moments. But I can also identify those small gestures that mean so much, a touch on the shoulder or holding of hands. I feel that capturing these little gestures in their photos really helps my clients to remember those special moments so vividly. Do you feel the love just jumps off the screen when you see these moments?! I may be biased but I think they do!

I was speaking with different bride and she was worried about having a wedding because of societal expectations. However after doing some research she realised that weddings don’t have to be a big affair with lots of fancy decorations. She started to think about how weddings can be something that represents who you are as a couple. Therefore she decided a wedding at their home would be best. This made her feel better and took the anxiety away knowing they could do the wedding their own way! Are you are considering a Blue Mountains backyard wedding as well? Or perhaps a backyard wedding somewhere else? Wherever it is, it will be right for you.
