This relaxed Whale Beach wedding was a perfect mix of romance, fun and emotional moments. A rainbow appeared over the couple while celebrating on the beach.
There were many lovely unique details about Julia and Byron’s wedding. This included Julia’s Mum playing the harp to for guests to enjoy before the ceremony and also her amazing calligraphy skills for the name cards and signs. Julia’s elegant dress was modelled off Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy’s wedding dress and it was the perfect style for her figure – it is like she floated around all day and night in it! She certainly was on cloud nine!
A photo of Julia’s late father was kept in a frame hanging from her bouquet so she could have him with her all day. Her brother, Brian walked her down the aisle and you could see how close these siblings are. Julia sang so beautifully for Byron during the reception, the whole room was on their feet by the end of ‘Kissing You.’
We were blessed with a gorgeous rainbow for about an hour later in the afternoon. It was faintly in the distance when we took photos on the beach but then reached across the sky later into the reception. It reminded us how lucky we were that the storms and torrential rain that morning did not appear in the afternoon!
I have photographed one other wedding at Jonah’s and the bride, Lauren was the one who provided all the flowers for Julia’s wedding. She is an amazing floral artist and created the bouquets, the decorations for the arbour and the canape room, the table decorations and the additions for the Wedding sign. I highly recommend her and her team – see the link below.
Congratulations to Julia and Byron, a truly romantic and connected couple who danced around every minute of their day and just loving being in love!
