Olga and Allan had to make a decision to change their ceremony location only days before the wedding. The forecast looked bleak for an outdoor ceremony at the Royal Botanic Gardens so plans were set to have it indoors. They decided on an Ovolo Hotel wedding ceremony at Woolloomooloo. Lucky Olga had asked Girl Friday Weddings to help with the styling but also the coordination of the day. This made dealing with all the wedding plans much easier, especially with a change of venue!
And wow, what a venue it was! This Ovolo Hotel wedding ceremony was held in the breakfast area. It is brimming with character and style! I believe it was a perfect match and it really made for some fun photos with their guests later on. After the ceremony guests enjoyed a champagne bar and nibbles as the rain poured down outside. The right decision had been made. This venue was extra special as it is where Olga and Allan regularly have coffee on the weekends. So all the staff knew the two and there were congrats all round!
Olga and Allan had me cover their day for nine hours but now I only specialise in weddings of six hours or less. Therefore I have decided to show you images of the day if they had only had me cover six hours. In that time we were able to capture Olga getting ready, the ceremony styling, guests and Olga arriving and Allan waiting. The ceremony and the congrats from the guests. The guests then enjoyed champagne and some fun group photos. We also did some special family photos at the upper level of the wharf building and couple photos for Olga and Allan. Then it was time to jump on a water taxi with some family and friends and capture the details at the reception.
