Anna and Will were blessed with stunning weather for their Mali Brae wedding in March. They chose Mali Brae Farm in Fitzroy Falls as Anna’s family is from the country. Therefore they wanted something country-like but closer to Sydney. “We love Mali Brae Farm’s rolling fields, gardens and picturesque nature. It feels warm, friendly and intimate – perfect for the type of wedding we want.”
Will is a planner and had the proposal well organised! He took Anna on a surprise holiday to Lord Howe Island. They headed to a secluded headland called Lovers Bay on bicycle. Will then proposed while they enjoyed a romantic picnic. With no phone reception, the rest of the holiday was perfect as it was filled with eating, bushwalks, swimming and relaxation.
For the wedding, celebrating with close friends and family was important to Anna and Will. So much joy was shared on their day and everyone was in good spirits! Including their family in the preparations for the wedding was very important. Anna and Will asked them to help with the flowers inside the venue. Anna’s mum created the favours and Anna’s sister-in-law created a few of the decorative boards. “We have gotten our families involved a lot as we want them to feel included and valued.” Be sure to have a look at their amazing creations in the photos below! And a big thanks to my assistant Tenille for helping out!
