This Como Hotel Wedding was so incredibly special for Bev and Gerry, formerly of the UK. Do you remember your first love? Bev and Gerry do because it was each other. However, they did not really act on that love until 30 years after their first meeting! After continually staying in contact Gerry decided to tell Bev he still loved her and came from the UK to be with her in Sydney. Two years later they married and it was so wonderful to see the happiness, like teenagers in love!
Twenty-five of the 70 guests made the long trip from the UK to help Bev and Gerry celebrate! We certainly put on a great Aussie summer for them with temperatures close to 40 degrees on wedding day. During the ceremony we were lucky to be in the shade, enjoying the glorious breeze off the Georges River from the balcony. Heartfelt vows were exchanged and lots of cheers came from the guests as they kissed and kissed again! The joy was overwhelming, everyone knew this was a long time coming! Happy tears were shed and lots of hugs given – good vibes are all that could be felt at this Como Hotel Wedding!
Bev and Gerry chose one of my new short coverage wedding photography packages. A little extra was added to get bride and groom photos at the park. You can get an idea of what can be covered in 2 hours and 15 minutes from the photos below. All weddings are of course different and I always recommend not to rush things.
