A Freshwater Wedding was always going to be the number one choice for this couple. Patrick explains that Charlotte wanted to show her family what Australia looks like with an amazing view over the beach. “The ceremony and reception are right on the beach and looks spectacular every time we have visited.”
The Marmalade Sky pulled off some brilliant styling for this bright tropical themed Freshwater wedding. A white arbour dripping with tropical coloured blooms at the top and bottom. The Surf Lifesaving Club also looked amazing with beautiful floral pineapple centrepieces and colourful lanterns. A Harry Potter-themed three-tier wedding cake also stood out with its gold quidditch ball as the cake topper!
The celebrant, Andrea, conducted a very personalised and funny ceremony that had all guests with big smiles on their faces! She thought it would be great to have a ‘flash mob reading’ where all the guests joined in. It was a surprise for Charlotte and Patrick and they absolutely loved it!
The bride and groom’s guests had travelled from mostly the UK to be there as Charlotte is British so it was important to have a good amount of time to mingle. A delicious grazing platter was on offer and drinks with a few words from relatives. After the group photos, we headed to the beach with just Charlotte and Patrick so they could enjoy some romantic moments.
You might notice that Charlotte and Patrick chose to have just part of their day covered so this gives you a glimpse of what three hours of photography coverage looks like!
