Tanya and Nathan’s Vaucluse House Wedding and Party at the MCA!

Stylish Wedding at Vaucluse House with an Amazing Reception at the Museum of Contemporary Art

I don’t think I have ever seen a couple more happy to be married. My couples every week are beaming with happiness on their wedding day but Tanya and Nathan were like they were in another world all by themselves and floating on a cloud of extreme happiness!! During the signing process, they could not stop giving each other kisses and their smiles were from ear to ear. I was just so happy for them. This Vaucluse House Wedding was just perfect.

This show of affection continued into the night as they were looking at each other lovingly during the speeches and then whilst on the dance floor. As Tanya described it, they were in ‘marital fairyland.’

There were many other things to note about their gorgeous day – the incredible floral arrangements, Tanya’s stunning dress, the gorgeous grounds of Vaucluse House and the amazing reception venue overlooking Sydney Harbour at the Museum of Contemporary Art.

Just 2 days after their Vaucluse House Wedding, Tanya sent me this absolutely gorgeous email. Keep in mind she had not seen any of her photos yet so this is all based on her experiences leading up to and on the wedding day.

“Thank you for absolutely everything and clearly I cannot wait to put pen and paper and write you a lovely thank you note but that will definitely come later.  We booked you as one of our ‘must-have’ suppliers based on your beautiful photo-taking talents, creativity and your ability to make Nathan and myself feel completely comfortable in front of the camera. What I did not realise is just how much Rob [my assistant] and yourself do. You kept us to a schedule and ensured that we got everything we wanted in when Nathan and I were basically off in marital fairyland! Your creativity and helpfulness of shooting still life and being MacGyver-like with the furniture in our hotel room! Plus all the giggles and fun we had with you both with our bridal party photos! We were so comfortable it was almost like we had old friends taking our photos!   You humoured my father with his ‘can you take a photo?’ with his little camera (and oh dear! sorry about this but thank you for putting it so politely to him that you need to take photos with your camera also!!) You helped me when I had no idea what I was doing! ‘Gemma! Rob! I don’t know how to put this buttonhole on?! What side??!’   What I also didn’t anticipate was the extremely high level of communication in the lead up to the wedding, with all things wedding related and all the guidance, advice and reassurance and my mini-meltdown with my make up artist.  I don’t even need to see the photos because I know they will turn out fabulous as we were so relaxed and comfortable with you both.  Thank you. Thank you for everything. And we look forward to working with you again for when we have our little ones in the future!”
