Last Sunday I was invited to Jaxson’s Superhero Birthday Party at the very popular Blaxland Riverside Park in Newington. I am loving my new role as a Children’s Party Photographer!
Jaxson’s Aunty, Bechi organised the party which included a special guest appearance by Superman and Wonder Woman from Superheroes Inc. They played Hide and Seek and Statues, made balloon swords and painted some superhero faces. There was an amazing bright and colourful cake created by Bechi’s good friend Roland Nguyen. And Bechi took care of the adorable capes and Superhero symbols on the bottles of water. She also organised all the other decorations. The cool comic style photo backdrop was hired from Western Sydney Jump and the amazing custom-made polaroid frame design was bought from Etsy store Imajenit and then printed at Officeworks. The amazing capes and masks that the little kids and some of the adults were wearing were created by a lovely lady from Gumtree who helped Bechi out last minute when her orders from America were delayed. Her business is also on Facebook and called JJ Juniors Kids Clothing & Goods.
I think this could be considered one of the best jobs in the world! At this Superhero Birthday Party there were happy kids, lots of games, costumes, adults also running around having fun and cake! Well done to Bechi on a great party!
A lot of my wedding clients are now employing me to capture their other special events – family parties and their children’s portraits! I am loving being a part of this and seeing their families grow. The great benefit also is that people feel comfortable with having me around because they know me so it is like I am part of the family and I can capture the moments so naturally!
