They always say there is something about a Man in Uniform and Andrew did not disappoint his Bride as they said their vows at this Sydney Mint Wedding late last year. The good luck rain poured down on Stefanie and Andrew and they didn’t mind one bit. They were just so happy to celebrate this union – rain, hail or shine!
The bride and bridesmaids (and groom!) got ready at the Sofitel Wentworth in the City. This hotel is one of my favourite locations to take a spectacular aerial shot because of its great mid-level terrace. Check out the photos of the bridesmaids so you can see what I am talking about!
Also, a few things didn’t go to plan on the day but they took it all in their stride and were just so happy just to be around all their family and friends. Andrew is a policeman but he also works for the Army. The Bride and Groom, therefore, they decided it would be great to have a traditional Sword Ceremony as part of their day. They had to wait until 2 days before the wedding to borrow one of the special swords as it was being used for Prince Charles’ visit!
I just want to say that I feel very privileged to have been a part of Stefanie and Andrew’s day – they are just wonderful people to work with but also as friends – very kind and generous.
