If you want a relaxed country wedding with beautiful gardens and a rustic feel then Somerleys is definitely the place to consider in the Southern Highlands. I would probably have to say a Somerleys Wedding is one of my favourites as it has very Australian ‘Cotswolds’ feel to it. Emma and Joseph chose the location because it was the perfect setting for catching up with their close friends and relatives. Many relatives flew from Ireland to be with them! Emma and Joseph are from the same area of Ireland. However, it wasn’t until they came to Sydney that they met and fell in love.
There were predictions of rain the whole afternoon but I don’t think we even felt a drop at this gorgeous Somerleys Wedding! It was truly perfect with the guests enjoying canapes and drinks on the lawn in front of the vine-covered reception room. A very picturesque scene indeed! Please enjoy looking through the photos and don’t forget to check out their gorgeous transport – a VW Kombi!
