Sydney had been raining for weeks and the forecast was clear for Chelsea and Andrew’s small wedding Sydney. On the morning, however, we experienced torrential rain. We feared the ceremony would be in a dark unattractive building instead of McKell Park’s lush green gardens. However, the rain cleared and we were very lucky to enjoy the ceremony and the portraits outside. Very, very lucky! When things like this happen I feel like your wedding day becomes even more special!
Chelsea and Andrew met at a concert and although they could hardly hear each other, the attraction was there straight away. Fourteen years later, after an engagement in the Dandenong Ranges (hot air ballooning and watching the city lights) they were wed!
At this small wedding, every single guest at the ceremony felt involved and connected in some way. The ring ‘blessing’ involved passing around the rings to the guests during the ceremony so they could offer their best wishes. Every guest was smiling from ear to ear and/or crying tears of joy. The experience was very emotional and happy for all involved. The kids had lots of fun with the bubbles during the kiss and group photos!
A lot of my clients are opting for shorter wedding day coverage and this was no exception for this small wedding Sydney. Chelsea asked me to capture the getting ready, ceremony, congrats, group photos, the bride and groom portraits and then some at Chiswick Woollahra. In four hours we covered three locations and the whole day still had a very relaxed feel! If you are interested in shorter coverage and curious about what can be covered, feel free to contact me.
