One of my favourite places in the world is the NSW South Coast – there are many amazing wedding venues, including those in the mountains, on the beach, on a country property and among the vineyards. You are very spoilt for choice. Karen and Steve decided to have a Silos Estate Wedding on a stunning country property among the vines!
Silos Estate is located in Berry and the countryside is so beautiful, everything is so green. The reason everything is so green is of course because they get a lot of rain on that part of the South Coast! It was no surprise to see an approaching storm as the girls were getting ready at Silos Estate & Winery. As the ceremony started we could see lightning in the background, it was quite amazing (shame the camera couldn’t capture it as it was gone so quickly!). The rain held off the for the ceremony but decided to make an appearance for half an hour and then let the sun stream through the clouds in the late afternoon, it had a real magical feel to it! After the rain, the sunset was so warm and inviting and we were able to capture some lovely Silos Estate wedding photos of Karen and Steve.
Karen and Steve went very DIY for the wedding and made so many things for the day. This included the giant Jenga and the massive polaroid frame. Another reason Silo Estate was chosen was because of the gorgeous animals on the property including a baby Llama.
