Päivi and Jukka’s Helsinki Engagement Photos

Päivi and Jukka’s Helsinki engagement photos were on a little island in Helsinki called Pihlajasaari and we were blessed with perfect weather. I seem to have very good luck when it comes to weather in Helsinki and I have visited a lot!  When I wrote this post I had been to Finland 10 times in 10 years.

They had us at Hello! I know this is a cheesy line but Päivi and Jukka have such lively personalities. They were happy to smooch and laugh the entire session. We caught a small wooden ferry with JT-Line across the harbour to this peaceful island with bathing huts, boathouses and a lovely restaurant. There was a great beach here also! We all just enjoyed exploring the island as we soaked up the sunshine. Everything looks so fresh and colourful in summer.  When we caught the boat back we spent some time near the jetty with the gorgeous boats.  Jukka is a big fan and a boat owner himself! It was important therefore to capture some lovely boats in their photos.

I love to visit Helsinki regularly – at least once a year so I may be able to capture some special moments for you. If not for your engagement then possibly for your wedding. Because I travel to Finland often I have lots of friends there and love being a part of the lifestyle.
