Sinead and Jukka live in London but Jukka is Finnish and they both wanted to introduce their friends and family to the Finnish summer cottage lifestyle by having their wedding celebrated over a weekend by a lake near Lahti. The weather was absolutely magic despite the previous days’ performance. The theme was the Finnish wilderness with various Finnish animals making an appearance on the invitations and at the reception table. I was on the Poro (Reindeer) table 🙂 Sinead’s Scottish roots were also represented later in the night with some instructional Scottish dancing for everyone to give it a go! Sinead’s dress was amazing and an authentic 1930s wedding dress – no replica here! Jukka was compared to God after giving his speech – I guess a few ladies were a little moved by his amazing words 😉 Please enjoy the atmosphere and beauty of Aurantola in Jaala, Finland and the moments from the truly amazing wedding of Sinead and Jukka <3
