Gardens on Forest is a perfect location in southern Sydney for a small relaxed wedding. This was a wedding for approximately 30 guests at a time before the COVID-19 Pandemic. Unfortunately it was too far for Polina’s parents to visit from Russia but I created some previews within 24 hours so they could share their joy and excitement with them soon after!
If you have a Gardens on Forest wedding and the weather turns sour then there are so many lovely spots inside to take photos – from the lounge area to the gorgeous staircase and stained glass windows.
I treat every wedding and every couple differently based on their needs and personalities. I believe your photos should reflect who you are. So when Polina and Michael explained to me what they had in mind I understood that emotional photos but also more traditional (but still relaxed) photos were important to them.
Michael and Polina have a unique love story. They met on an International penpal site. Michael had a great interest in Russian culture and Polina was happy to educate him. They met in person soon after and loved travelling together. It was really beautiful to see how much love and support they have for each other. I am hoping you can see that clearly in their wedding photos.
