If you are looking for a lovely relaxed wedding on a property just outside of Sydney where you can enjoy countryside views and the shade of the gorgeous Pepper Trees then this is the spot! Linda and Simon chose to have a Pepper Tree Ridge Wedding just outside of Camden as they love the outdoors and always wanted a wedding in a country and/or bush setting.
Tears of joy began to flow from Linda’s eyes as the ceremony began. You could see this day was very important to both of them. Friends and family also started to tear up during the vows. There was so much love and support felt for Linda and Simon under that Pepper Tree. As they were announced as being officially married they were covered in petals by Linda’s nieces and nephew. It was sweet to see their devotion to her and they seemed to stay by her side all day long.
One of the most memorable parts of the day was when Linda and Simon decided to climb that very same tree they had just been married under. They met whilst rock climbing so it was natural that they should want to climb something on their wedding day. There may have been a ladder involved to help the initial climb but even that is hard in such a big dress and well-tailored suit! All their rock climber friends were there as ‘safety inspectors’ to make sure nothing went wrong. But I saw a lot of beers in their hands…not sure how much safety was involved haha! This is definitely something that will be remembered at this Pepper Tree Ridge Wedding!
As the clouds came over games were being played and the speeches started with lots of laughter being heard. Linda’s friends sang a song and lots of fun group shots were taken, displaying how relaxed everyone was and willing to have a good time. There was no dancing but it was not needed as Linda and Simon said climbing trees had replaced the dancing!
At the end of the night, to finish off this perfect Pepper Tree Ridge Wedding, Linda and Simon spent some time under a fairy light lit tree during what we call the blue hour after sunset. It made for a stunning photo – please do not miss it at the end of this post! After this, Simon piggy-backed Linda back to the reception area and they enjoyed being quizzed by the guests with some fun bride and groom games.
