Like what you see?
For 15 years I have wanted to go to the Cook Islands and two years ago Natalie contacted me asking me if I could be her photographer for her South Pacific wedding. It was planned to be at the Pacific Resort Rarotonga and I said Yes, yes yes!!!!! That’s all I could say. My patience had paid off – I had hoped an opportunity like this would come up. In May the weather is supposed to be a little milder but unfortunately, it was crazy with wind and thunderstorms for the first few days we were there. The wedding was postponed by a day as the predictions were for a 100% chance of rain and thunderstorms. Surely the next day would be better?! But it rained and rained and looked miserable the whole morning and into the afternoon. But at 2.50pm as the guests arrived for the ceremony and huddled under shelter out of the rain it all changed. Tropical weather is unpredictable. The clouds dispersed, the rain stopped and the sun shone through. It was beautiful for the rest of the afternoon! We were so lucky! Please enjoy our adventures through these photos and congrats to Natalie and Alex – thanks for making my dreams come true too 😉
A lovely message I received from Natalie when she received her USB of photos of her South Pacific Wedding – “Thank you so so much for everything on the day and all your hard work behind the scene as well. I love all the photos so much and I will definitely cherish them, especially as the years pass and bring back all those wonderful memories! I will highly recommend you to anyone who wants the best photographer and hope we will have a chance in the future to do photos.”
