If you are looking for a beautiful forest or country location in Sydney I would highly recommend a Centennial Park Wedding! There are so many wonderful spots for photos and you can have your reception at Centennial Parklands Dining which has beautiful vines hanging from its rooftops – it creates a wonderful atmosphere.
On April 24, Jacinta and Sam became man and wife in a traditional Catholic ceremony at St Augustine’s in Balmain and then headed to Centennial Park for their photos in the forest! Every part of the day was amazing.
This was no ordinary wedding though, the bride and groom have 17 siblings amongst them so you could imagine that the wedding could not be small, even if you only invited immediate family! Jacinta’s dress was altered to create a vision she had – the Illusion mesh sleeves and keyhole back were added – I love it! The bridesmaids’ dresses were a stand out also, designed by the bride’s very talented sister Judi, who has her own label, The Dress Shoppe. The bouquets and the flower sprays on the Peacock Chairs at the reception were created by one of my former brides, Lauren, who has amazing talent! She has launched her floral design business – Lauren Alyce Floral Design. There were a lot of DIY items too – table decor and centrepieces, church pew bows, Fingerprint tree frame – it was a team effort by all involved. Please enjoy looking through the photos of this stunning Centennial Park Wedding.
